Skin Cancer Surgery
Surgical excision is the definitive treatment for skin cancer lesions. This is especially true for lesions that are not amenable for other methods of treatment i.e. cryotherapy etc. Most cancerous lesions can be removed through standard elliptical excisions, but other complicated lesions may require more complicated repair through flaps and skin grafts. At Melbourne Medical & Skin Cancer Centre we have two surgical procedure rooms. Our doctors have extensive training and experience in various facets of skin cancer surgery and will both recommend and provide the most effective surgical intervention where needed.
